Product Description
Not made in China! Made from High Carbon Steel SAE 1045/49/SCM415. Fits 420 Chain. See picture for exact measurements. Check your current tooth count before ordering. This listing is for a 36 tooth sprocket. Larger size sprockets in the rear give you more take off power with less top speed. Smaller rear sprockets give you more top end speed with a slower take off. Lazer 5 Moped has a high and Low gear, so this can work to get more top speed in high gear or more take off power when using in low gear. We also have different size front sprockets. Rear sprocket
If I have a 14 tooth front sprocket and a 36 tooth rear sprocket, how many links should I cut on my chain? *** Sorry, this is something we cannot guess from the information provided. Please email us directly for more help. ***

Rear Sprocket
Smaller rear sprocket to allow for a higher top speed at a lower engine RPM. I know it'll cost me some low-end torque, but I hope the trade off is worth it.

Lazer 5 rear sprocket
Just finished our test drive after installing the smaller rear sprocket. Our Lazer 5 went from 25 mph at 7500 rpm to approximately 37mph at 7500 rpm. Top speed is over 45mph. After 72cc upgrade this has made a huge difference, just awesome. Can stay with traffic without running at crazy high revs awesome.

Fast Lazer 5
Changed the front sprocket on my 2015 SSR Lazer 5 Moped from the stock 12 tooth sprocket to the 14 tooth sprocket and the rear stock 42 tooth sprocket to this 36 tooth sprocket with the intent of gaining higher top end speed. My moped does have the 72cc big bore kit. My moped went from a top speed of 30 mph to 50+ mph after the sprocket change. What a difference. The only down side is that you loose a lot on take off speed which I expected. I did not install the sprockets myself, had them done by a pro. It took him about an hour.
