Just Right.
This shorter shifter rod was just what I needed to reset my shifter to a location that was perfect for me. I forgot to say what length I needed but I used the message feature to ensure I got the right one. Despite being in the holiday rush Whygostock, made sure I got the right one and shipped it the same day I ordered it. I installed it the day I got it and it made riding just right for me.

Perfect fit
This shorter shift rod is the perfect fit for moving your shift pedal placement to the shorter position on the GV650

exact fit to spec
Purchased both short and long Rod. Both fit to spec. Extremely happy!

much more comfortable
I got the shorter rod to move the pegs closer on my gv650. I wear 34in length pants and the longer position was still uncomfortable, feeling pressure points on hip joints the closer pegs feels a lot better. Shipping was fast.

Pretty dam good!
Great link rod and material! This rod is thicker than my original gear shift link so its more durable. I bought the short 273 since I'm a short rider but the reason for the 4 stars is because for my preference, if the rod was maybe 1/8 of an inch longer it would have been perfect, but over all I love the rod I got and works good. Best for its price too!

Was exactly as described
I purchased my ST-7 used evidently this part is given to the first time owners of the bike. It is needed to adjust the shifter, driver foot peg/floor board on left side of bike. I requested the shorter length as the instruction indicated for shorter riders and I received the correct length as ordered. Note: The right side brake, foot peg/floor board moves as a complete assemble all parts needed are already on the bike for right side of the bike.

Make sure you have the threads right.
Good part, I had a mechanic work on my bike and he stripped the old lever threads. I bought the shorter one and it works great so far.
