Perfect upgrade for Kayo 125 EFI
I want to start by saying, I can't believe they build these Chinese four-wheelers geared so high. It seems like they will barely climb a small incline! After purchasing two Chinese four-wheelers, a Kayo 125 "Bull" and a 125 Predator, I quickly realized that these four wheelers were struggling to navigate our West Virginia hills. Even with fairly light riders! Stumbled onto whygostock.com and threw some research figured out I would try a 420 pitch 12 tooth instead of the original 13 tooth on the front drive gear. Wow what a difference! It came factory with a 42 tooth on the rear and since it's an EFI model it has a wheel speed sensor so I didn't want to mess with the magnetic tone ring on the rear gear. The four-wheeler went from doing almost 40 mi an hour, but needing help to get started on any kind of incline, to having a good bit of takeoff power but topping out only around 26 mph. That is perfect for our young riders! Do yourself a favor and also purchase the retainer kit as these folks have already "pre-ground" The retainer and provided special bolts that you will need to accommodate the smaller gear in reference to where the chain rides. Will definitely purchase from them again especially when I'm in need of chains for these four wheelers! Couldn't be happier!

12 Tooth Sprocket
Combined with a 42 tooth rear sprocket, new chain, and new retainer clip. My sons four wheeler now is able to climb hills and not power out.

12t gear
Bought for a Kayo 125 (ATA125-B), worked liked a charm. Little more lower end. It came stock with a 13t. So wasn't much of a change. But part fit perfect. Had to grind down the keeper a little.

2020 Tao Boulder 110
Upgraded a Tao 110 Boulder with this front 12T sprocket. Combined with a 42T rear sprocket, the 110 has significant acceleration compared to the stock setup struggled just to get going on flat surfaces. This allows my 7 year old son to take off more smoothly, or accelerate over small inclines. I'm confident that it will allow my son to pull off some decent hill climbs on the trails if he has to. Well worth the price to make the Tao 110 Boulder a better quad. I also purchased the 420 gold chain, and the chain cutter tool for a very simple installation.

Front sprocket 12 tooth
We put this as well as a 42 tooth rear sprocket on a Kayo Fox 70 to improve starting torque and reduce top end speed. Parts fit well and the results we were looking for are accomplished.
